Did you know?
- With WIC you can get monthly checks for up to $100 worth of healthy foods when two in your family are enrolled. Each person gets checks for up to $50 worth of healthy foods. You’ll be able to use your checks at the grocery store the same day as your first visit!
- Working families, those on unemployment, and military families can get WIC. See the income guidelines below to learn if your family is eligible.
- If you get DSHS Medical, TANF, or basic food (food stamps) you are automatically eligible for WIC
- Getting WIC will not affect your immigration status.
- It’s easy to apply. WIC even takes care of the paperwork.

WIC is more than food
The friendly, caring people at WIC offer you other services too:
- If you are a breastfeeding mother, WIC will help with healthy foods and other support for you and your baby.
- WIC will give you nutrition tips to help you and your family eat well and stay healthy.
- WIC can tell you about many other services available in your community.

You can use your checks from WIC at your local grocery store.
The healthy foods WIC provides include:

Canned tuna |

Infant formula for babies who are not breastfed |
